Here are some of the bright-minded, soulful leaders featured in our free recorded interviews. They are people we love to co-create and play with, to support humanity to lean into light.
Charles Zook, MBA, CPCC is our co-leader in the rich arena of relationships.
He has vast experience as a masterful Relationship Coach, putting his heart, soul, intellect and experience into coaching hundreds of relationships for over 16 years, and he loves it. His joy is empowering people to feel self-determined in their professional relationships, in their personal relationships, and in their relationship with themselves.
Charles brings a practical “toolbox” approach, which encourages his clients to become ever more capable and confident in being able to create the life experience they envision, but had challenges accessing previously due to bad habits and lack of skill set.
In 2003, Charles and Kathy Olberts, MBA, CPCC created Quantum Teams, a system for measuring and improving Team Effectiveness. His work in professional settings includes for-profits, e.g. Unilever, non-profits, e.g. Stanford Medical Center, and governmental agencies, e.g the State of California.
Charles approaches personal relationships in a very non-traditional, non-therapeutic manner. He is not a PhD, nor a MFCC, nor any kind of a marriage counselor or therapist. His practical approach addresses what is happening in the relationship, acknowledging what is working well, and applying tools and skill set to the opportunities for growth that are a healthy part of all relationships.
Olivia Starr Peters-Lazaro, L.Ac. is the owner of Chico Community Acupuncture. She is a strong believer in the wisdom of the human body. For years she has witnessed first hand the power of healing in community.
"Treating people in community takes healing out of isolation," says Olivia. "This is important. There is a gorgeous synergy when all kinds of people for various reasons come together, choosing to take care of themselves." She has specialized training in treating pregnant women, and children.
Olivia served as President of the Board of Directors for the Chico Natural Foods Cooperative (2011-2014). She has a BA in Geography: Environmental Studies and a BA in World Arts and Cultures: Dance, both with honors for research on community gardening in Los Angeles and Havana, Cuba, UCLA.
Thanks to her wise and generous mother, Olivia got to touch her baby sister's placenta at birth. She is passionate about the power, joy, grounding nature and sheer magic of horses and she loves backpacking in the wilderness with other women. Olivia has been singing, dancing and playing in the dirt her whole life.
